Ice Cream Cake كعكة الايس كريم

  • swiss roll (sponge cake)
  • 1 cup sifted flour + pinch of salt
  • 1 cup eggs + vanilla
  • 1 cup powder sugar

  1. whisk the eggs + sugar + vanilla till it doubles in size and becomes almost white (ribbon stage)
  2. then fold in the sifted flour gently.
  3. use a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
  4. bake in 180C oven for almost 15 min or till the stick comes out clean.

  1. chocolate ganache (equal portions of dark chocolate and double cream)
    cover a bowl with cling film the cut the Swiss roll in equal slices and place them in bowl, then fill the rest with your favorite ice cream. 
  2. Chill for 2 hrs then turn it upside down and decorate with ganache.
